Hello Evolving Lovers!

I interrupt your regular reading and viewing schedule with a special guest post. Abbey has given me the reins for this week and trusted me with sharing my thoughts around the art behind the Evolving Love Project.

Capturing Abbey in still and moving images has always been central to the way we communicate erotically and romantically. It forms a diary of our relationship and a visual road map of the love and adventures that we have shared together.

At this point, we would easily have over 20,000 photos we have captured together. From opportunistic moments with a phone in hand, to carefully curated scenes and aesthetics, there is always an energy that runs through the photos. I can still remember the first erotic photo that we took together in 2012, in a small rehearsal room at the University we attended.

My job in every photo I take, is to capture the essence of Abbey’s beauty, and in that, our own love and connection. During these moments, it feels like time passes so quickly, as the shutter snaps, and Abbey (often) braves natures’ elements.

So today I wanted to take readers behind the curtain of our creative process. To help illustrate that I will use behind the scenes photos and video that we have captured along the way.

The Tree

Our beautiful friend Noah visited us from NYC two summers ago, and we were lucky enough to spend time in country NSW and show him real Australia… from the kangaroos to the wombats, to the wide open expanses of country.

This particular afternoon we had decided to go for an afternoon walk, and of course I grabbed the camera (my trusty Canon 5d Mark IV with 16-35mm f.4 lens for any camera nerds out there).
